Ashtamgam is a very good medical college hospital. I was here as an inpatient for 15 days for the treatment and my back pain was greatly relieved in this period.

This hospital is providing all types of Ayurvedic treatment with 30 plus post graduate doctors. All doctors are very skilled. I would like to specially mention Dr. Purushothaman Namboothiri who was my consultant doctor and also RMO doctors were very comforting during treatments.
After each treatment, doctors checks the patient's progress daily in multiple times and prescribes treatment and care accordingly.

The behavior of their staff deserves a special mention. Every staff treats the patients very friendly and humble. Treatment therapist are very knowledgeable and  make you feel very comfortable during treatment. Nursing staff also were doing their job well. You can’t see any staff without smiling face. This is the greatest quality a hospital should have.

The food was very hygienic and tasty. Diet food is delivered to every patient at the right time.

The rooms are very clean and provides  daily housekeeping assistance. Laundry service also available. There are different ranges of rooms available.

Geographically the hospital located in a small hill with nice view , very calm, cool and fresh air. You won’t feel that you are a patient as they treat you as a guest.

Regarding the expenses, I feel  the charges are very fair and affordable.

I have been taking treatment here since 2019. I am diabetic. Had a treatment for 18 days in 2020 jan for right hand frozen shoulder was able to get back to normalcy in 4-5 months. Then after getting infected by corona a few time and one severe infection cam back here in 2022 Nov with multiple issues including left hand frozen shoulder, joint pains and fissures. After treatment for 23 days and following protocol for 46 days I am pretty satisfied by and see my energy levels coming back. Again presently admitted for 2 weeks to complete the course so with April 2023 I expect to be back to normalcy.
Special mention to Dr Ramy Alakkal for her sincere approach. Dr Rohit Bhatt for yoga and naturopathy. Dr Purishottaman namboodiri for treating my fissure.
Treatment therapist Very accommodative and knowledgeable. Make you feel very comfortable during treatment.
RMO doctors were very understanding and comforting during treatments.
Athreya rooms are very nice and comfortable. There are also economy wards which I was made to believe that it was very affordable. Food was tailor made as per preference but within the protocol of the treatment.
Nursing staff also were doing the job well.
The hospital is well equipped and it’s in a very scenic location between few small hills. Zero pollution.
