About S-VYASA

Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S- VYASA) is a registered charitable institution (1986) working for making Yoga as a socially relevant Science. About the course

This course is internationally recognised, with excellent job opportunities. On the completion of this course, the students will be able to teach yoga to the general public, even to those having health related complaints. The course is combination of THEORY AND PRACTICALS, dealing with Breathing techniques, Āsanas, Shat Kriyas, Pranayama, Meditation techniques, etc. course also includes Yogic Games which improves Concentration, Memory, Stamina, Awareness etc and Happy Assembly program which makes a person, in tune with true nature, happiness and bliss.

Course Curriculum

The Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) consists of the following the subjects, which provides the platform to learn yoga and provides the platform to teach the yoga individually.

Theory

Introduction to yoga and its’ streams – Patanjali and Hatha yoga (2 credits)
Life and Message of Spiritual Masters and Applications of Yoga (2 credits)

Practical

Asanas & Kriyas (2 credits)
Pranayama & Meditations (2 credits)
Teaching techniques & Karma yoga (2 credits)
Chanting of shlokas, Yogic games / Happy assembly and report (2 credits)

Modes:

Online

Course Duration: 3 months

Classes on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (weekly 3 days)

Timings – Morning 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Batches: Yearly 2 batches – January / August

Live classes through Google Meet for Online batch

For Online batch classes will be recorded and provided through Google Classroom for reference.

Offline

Course Duration: 3 months

Classes will be held every 2nd Friday, Saturday & Sundays of each month (3 days per month).

( Online sessions on Sundays)

Batches: Yearly 2 batches

YIC 14th Offline Batch Starts from 14th August 2026. Registration closing date August 5th

YIC 10th Online Batch Starts from 12th August 2026. Registration closing date August 5th

Certification

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate with hologram from S-VYASA University.

Offline course ₹25,000/- (including course materials, food & accommodation) add-on sessions on Face Yoga only for Offline batch

Online Course ₹20,000/- (300 hrs Certificaton)
